This week was spent installing my work Neon Bloom at the Comox Valley Art Gallery in Courtenay, BC. For this exhibition, the installation will be split into two parts- one half will be in the large window space of the gallery and the other half will be in the back gallery. Each small unit is attached to the ceiling individually by a thread so I’m happy there are so many amazing volunteers at the gallery. For this show, I’m thinking about how nutrient cycles, energy flows and topologies might affect these small units imagining a kind of ecosystem in the gallery.
