Installing Black Cloud this week at the Craft Alliance was a lot of fun. Special thanks goes out to Carlene Fullerton, Yvette Lane, Virginia Eckinger and Megan Singleton who are generously helped in the gallery and made this work come together! Black Cloud is shipped to the gallery as flat sheets and is given volume on site- that means lots of staples and threads and time!
On Thursday evening we hosted the “Under Construction Gallery Talk” showing a behind the scenes look at my installation process. I loved opening up the gallery and sharing the work in progress!
