This week was spent installing two large installations at the Virginia Muesum of Contemporary art in Virginia Beach. Floating Garden was installed in a room that we painted a pale grey to reference the cool blue of outdoor light. It took us 3 days to install all 600 flowers from individual strings on lifts because the ceilings are so high. In a second room painted a light yellow colour to mimic indoor light, we installed my newest room installation titled Living Room 2 that I have been working on for the past year.
